Chinese tech giant, OnePlus is working on a new Nord CE 2 Lite device for the Indian market. The smartphone has bagged Bluetooth SIG certification and was recently spotted on the BIS platform with model number CPH2409, too. However, there is no official word regarding the phone's arrival. As per the rumors, it will have a 64MP main camera, a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and a 4,500mAh battery.

The Nord CE 2 Lite will be the latest Nord-branded smartphone from OnePlus. As the name suggests, it will be a "lite" version of the Nord CE 2 5G introduced by the company before. The smartphone will be an entry-level mid-ranger that will rival devices from brands such as Motorola, Xiaomi, as well as Samsung.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will have a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 90Hz or higher refresh. The smartphone is expected to have a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left corner, slim bezels, a plastic body, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite smartphone will feature a triple camera setup on the rear comprising a 64MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The handset will feature a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls

Under the hood, The Nord CE 2 Lite will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset and it should run on Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 on top. At the heart, a 4,500mAh or 5,000mAh battery is rumored with support for 33W fast-charging. The smartphone may come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

The official pricing and availability details of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be announced by the Chinese tech company at the time of its launch in India in the coming weeks. However, looking at the purported specifications, the device may start at around Rs. 20,000. It may be offered in two or three color options, including black.
