Former One Direction member Liam Payne died after jumping from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday October 16, 2024. Before moving into the hotel, Liam Payne was apparently kicked out of another hotel.

According to three sources interviewed by People, Payne was kicked out of the Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires hotel, just days before his tragic death. One source said Payne was disruptive to guests.

"He was thrown out because he was disturbing other guests and was seen in a drunken state," said one source. Buenos Aires Security Ministry communications chief Pablo Policicchio confirmed that Payne jumped from the balcony of his room at Palermo's CasaSur hotel.

A preliminary autopsy report revealed that the cause of death was serious injuries and internal and external bleeding caused by the fall from a height. There were 25 injuries found on his body, all of which were consistent with injuries resulting from a fall from a height, including a head wound severe enough to cause death.

"Internal and external bleeding to the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to Liam's cause of death," said the coroner handling the case. However, authorities also confirmed that there were no signs of struggle or indications of third party involvement. However, the results of the toxicology tests have not yet been announced.

Payne's death has left not only his fans but also his One Direction bandmates in mourning. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik paid their final respects through emotional posts on Instagram. "Losing a best friend hurts," Harry Styles wrote in one of his posts.
