OnePlus is expected to launch the Nord CE 2 Lite device in the Indian market soon. Though there is no official word regarding the phone's arrival, it has already been spotted on the BIS platform and has also bagged the Bluetooth SIG certification. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has leaked the design render and full specifications of the smartphone.
OnePlus is aiming to increase its presence in the budget segment of devices in India. The Nord CE 2 Lite will be an entry-level mid-ranger that will rival smartphones from leading brands like Motorola, Samsung, and Xiaomi. According to Brar, the handset will have a 120Hz display, a 64MP primary sensor, a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and 33W fast-charging.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will have a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone will have a punch-hole cut-out on the top-left, slim bezels, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the rear, the device will sport a triple camera setup, paired with an LED flash.
In terms of optics, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will offer a 64MP main sensor, a 2MP mono camera, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will feature a 16MP camera on the front side. The device will draw power from a 5,000mAh which will support 33W fast-charging.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will be fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and run on OxygenOS 11 baked on top of Android 11 out of the box. It will pack up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Connectivity options will include dual-SIMs, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and a Type-C port.
The official pricing and availability details of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite smartphone in India will be announced at the time of its launch. However, looking at the tipped specifications, the handset maybe priced at around Rs. 20,000 (approximately $265.73 United States Dollar). It is available in various colors including Black.
