BLACKPINK's Rose received a lot of negative comments amid the popularity of her latest song APT which she sang with Bruno Mars. In an interview, Rose revealed the impact of negative comments on social media on her mental health.
The 27-year-old woman revealed that some of the anxiety that was bothering her mental health was poured into the songs on her first solo album, Rosie. Rose admitted to having a habit of watching news about herself until late at night.
Sometimes negative news about her makes Rose often read bad comments. "I realized how vulnerable and addicted I was to this ( online ) world and the desire to feel loved and understood," BLACKPINK's Rose told The Korea Times . At first, Rose did not want to express her emotions.
However, she changed her mind and wanted her fans to know that Rose, like most women, can also feel sadness. "(I write songs) so vulnerable and honest that people know that I'm a person who experiences these emotions, and I hate that about myself," Rose said.
"To be honest, it's something I want to keep to myself. Even in interviews, I feel like nothing really bothers me, you know? But it does. Every word, every comment, it just destroys me," she continued.
