Realme Q5 5G smartphone was announced along with Realme Q5 Pro in China. As for the key specifications, the handset comes with a fast refresh rate LCD display, triple rear camera, big battery, fast charging, USB Type-C port, and more. A few days the Chinese tech company also unveiled the Realme Q5i as the cheapest 5G device in the Realme Q5 series.

Realme Q5 5G flaunts a 6.58 inches IPS LCD display with Full-HD+ resolution, 120Hz fast refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, 401 ppi pixel density, and 90.8 percent screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the phone is powered with a Snapdragon 695 octa-core chipset that comes coupled with an Adreno 619 GPU. It is accompanied by up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage that can be extended via a microSD card slot. 

In terms of camera, the Realme Q5 5G features a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel B&W portrait lens. For selfies and video calls, the device sports a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the punch-hole at the top left corner. It comes running on Android 12 out of the box with realme UI 3.0 skin on top. 

The Realme Q5 5G is packed with a 5000mah battery and supports 60W fast charging. For connectivity options, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, 4G LTE, and a USB Type-C port. The handset comes with 8.6mm thickness, 195 grams weight, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and 5GB extended RAM support. The handset comes in three color options namely Racing Dusk, Glacier Waves, and Phantom. 

For official pricing and availability, the Realme Q5 5G comes in three configurations: 6 GB + 128 GB priced at 1,299 Yuan (Rs. 15,400 approx), 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage priced at 1,499 Yuan (Rs. 17,800 approx) and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage priced at 1,699 Yuan (Rs. 20,200 approx). It will go for sale on April 27 in China and users can get a 100 yuan discount during the first sale.
