Chinese tech giant, Vivo has launched a new 5G mid-range device called the Vivo V23e 5G in India. It is the third member of the Vivo V23 lineup that already includes Vivo V23 and Vivo V23 Pro. These two handsets are known for featuring a distinctive color-changing back panel. This is something that is not available on the newly launched smartphone

The Vivo V23e 5G sports a 6.44-inch Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a dotted notch. Under the hood, The smartphone has the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor with 5G support. The handset is available in a single configuration of 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. It offers microSD card support for expanding total storage capacity.

As for the camera department, the triple camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera is a 44-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies and video calls.

On the front software, the Vivo V23e 5G will boot Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. There is a 4,050mAh battery to keep the lights on. It supports 44W fast charging that should give you a top-up fairly quickly. It further has an in-display fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual-band WiFi support.

As for the official pricing and availability, Chinese tech company, Vivo has priced the Vivo V23e 5G at INR 25,990 (about $350) for the sole 8GB/128GB configuration. The smartphone will be sold in Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold color options through online and offline stores.
