Rising actor Chu Young Woo returns to the small screen with a new major acting role in the upcoming one-act tvN drama! The actor recently showed off his acting skills in the 2021 coming-of-age romance dramas "Police University," "You Make Me Dance" and "School 2021." The 23-year-old rising actor Chu Young Woo finally receives his first major acting role in tvn's new one-act drama! 

On February 8, tvN's upcoming one-act play "Babel Syndrome" confirmed Chu Young Woo's casting as the male lead. "Babel Syndrome" depicts the stories of various people who lost their spoken language due to an epidemic that spread a deadly virus, which causes genetic modification. The new tvN drama stars Chu Young Woo as Ha Neul, a young student who dreams to become a poet one day. 

He has a pure, kind heart who longs for his first love. Ha Neul's perspective about the world changes after he learns the darkest secrets hidden by the society during the deadly epidemic. tvN's one-act drama "Babel Syndrome" marks Chu Young Woo's first major role, and it's expected to help the rising star showcase his full potential as an actor. 

Chu Young Woo left a strong impression on the public with his 2021 coming-of-age romance comedy dramas "You Make Me Dance," "Police University" and "School 2021." Chu Young Woo's "Babel Syndrome" is directed by director Chae Doo Beom. It's one of tvN's famous one-act dramas that showcases rising stars' potential and acting skills. 

As of this writing, actors joining Chu Young Woo in "Babel Syndrome" are not yet announced. However, the one-act drama is scheduled to air sometime in the second half of 2022. The 23-year-old actor Chu Young Woo made his acting debut in the 2021 boys' love web series "You Mae Me Dance." Because of his impressive acting in the web series, opportunities opened their doors for the rookie actor. 

In the same year, he received the honor to work with veteran actors like Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Jong Hyuk, B1A4 Jinyoung and f(x) Krystal in the coming-of-age romance comedy drama "Police University" as the second male lead. He received critical acclaim for the drama, which earned him a nomination as Best New Actor in the 2021 KBS Drama Awards.

After the drama ended, Chu Young Woo jumped onto his next KBS project with fellow rookie stars WEi Yohan, Cho Yi Hyun and Hwang Bo Reum Byeol. The quartet decorated the eighth installment of the "School" franchise, "School 2021." "School 2021" successfully ended on January 30, but with a rather low viewership rating of 1.57%.
