South Korean pop rock band, All DAY6 members extended their contracts with the agency that formed them, talent agency, JYP Entertainment . This news was shared a few weeks after the celebration of the 7th anniversary of the boy band singer of the song 'You Were Beautiful'. 

South Korean media Sports Seoul on Monday, September 26, 2022 reported that Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon signed a contract extension with JYP Entertainment.  Again entrusting their relationship with JYP Entertainment, the agency revealed that it would fully support the four DAY6 members. 

“ We have renewed our contracts with all DAY6 members Sungjin, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. DAY6, a group with musical symbolism, and JYP Entertainment, which has extensive experience in band management, would like to continue a meaningful partnership based on a strong relationship of trust. 

We plan to be strong advocates for DAY6's future and strive hard in providing systematic support for higher emergencies. "said JYP Entertainment. DAY6 is a pop rock band formed by JYP Entertainment which made its debut 7 years ago, on September 7, 2015.  On September 7, Sungjin, Young K, and Wonpil just held an offline meeting with My Day (the name for the DAY6 fandom). 

The event is Sungjin's first program after completing his military service this September. Meanwhile, Dowoon had to be absent from the event because he was undergoing military service.  Their popular songs such as, 'You Were Beautiful', 'Shoot Me', 'I Need Somebody', 'Zombie', and 'I Love You' managed to break the 30 million stream mark on Spotify. 

The unparalleled color of the music and the love of the fans made the band even more popular. Media Sports Seoul mentioned that DAY6 was nicknamed the 'K-pop representative band' or K-pop representative band.  In addition, DAY6 also managed to achieve the record of 'breaking 100 live performances'. 

The South Korean pop rock managed to complete 100 concerts in just four years since its debut. So far, DAY6 has held two world concerts. They have held a world concert tour titled 'Youth' in 2018-2019. Meanwhile, their second world concert tour 'Gravity' will be held in 2019-2020.
