Cha Eun Woo will hold a photo exhibition in Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition, titled Afterimage, will run from April 28th to May 12th in the Ginza district. It will showcase a collection of photos from Cha Eun Woo’s various activities.

Tickets went on sale on March 14, 2026, priced at 4,000 yen, and Cha Eun Woo-related merchandise will also be available. Cha Eun Woo will not attend the exhibition in person due to his ongoing military duty.

He enlisted in July 2024 and is currently serving in the military band, with his discharge expected in January 2027. Regarding the exhibition, his agency Fantagio stated, “It is true that a photo exhibition is being held in Japan.

The project was already contracted in August 2024, and it is proceeding according to the agreed-upon schedule.” Meanwhile, Cha Eun Eoo was embroiled in controversy earlier this year over allegations of tax evasion.

Last year, he was investigated by the Seoul Regional National Tax Service and faced an additional tax payment of around 20 billion won, the largest ever imposed on a Korean celebrity.

The investigation focused on allegations that he used a one-person agency, run by his mother, to evade income tax. The agency’s address was linked to an eel restaurant owned by his family, which has since closed.

Cha Eun Woo addressed the issue on social media, saying, “I am seriously considering my tax responsibilities as a citizen of South Korea. I will accept the final judgment with humility and take full responsibility.”
