But we only started dating last year and finally decided to get married," the actor said, as quoted by Xports News on Thursday (March 19, 2026). Go Joon openly admitted that he'd never been interested in marriage because he didn't believe in the institution of marriage.
"But after dating her, that changed my mind," he added. The Cheat on Me, If You Can star also responded to netizens' speculation that he decided to marry because his girlfriend was pregnant. He emphasized that his future wife is not pregnant.
"I didn't get married because she was pregnant. But honestly, I was hoping to have a child soon," he said with a laugh. Go Joon announced that comedians Jo Hyeon Min and Kwon Pil will host his wedding. Urban Zakapa will perform a congratulatory song.
