SBS's upcoming global boy group audition program, ' Universe League ', has finally introduced the final lineup for the main team leaders. Quoting from Allkpop on Thursday August 22, 2024, Ten and Yangyang from the boy group WayV , have been officially announced as leaders for the main team 'Rhythm'.
Namely, the last team introduced in the boy group audition program system 'Universe League'. Unlike other audition or survival programs, which emphasize individual competition between trainees or participants, 'Universe League' adopts a unique tournament competition system using a team competition system.
The contestants will be divided into 3 main teams, who will compete with each other. Through various challenges and rounds, they will stay together in one team. Until achieving the main goal, which is to debut as a global boy group.
As the leaders of the 'Rhythm' team, Ten and Yangyang will lead their team to compete with the other two teams that were previously introduced. There is the 'Groove' team led by BTOB's Changsub, and the 'Beat' team led by GOT7's Yugyeom.
The team leaders of each group are also responsible for overseeing the production of their team's stages in each round of the competition. Along with that, a teaser video announcing the leader of the 'Rhythm' team along with WayV's Ten and Yangyang has also been shared via SBS's social media accounts.
Known as members of the boy group WayV, a sub-unit of the boy group NCT, Ten and Yangyang are world-class K-Pop idols, who have proven their talents and abilities.
