BTS's Jin some time ago filed for the cancellation of the postponement of military service. With this, the singer of The Astronaut's hits will undergo military service before 2023. Quoted from Yonhap, Jin is reported to be enlisting in the military on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He will first join the Army's frontline training camp in Seoul.

The training camp is said to be in the Yeoncheon area, 60 kilometers north of Seoul. Jin will first undergo basic training for five weeks before being assigned to a local unit. Shortly after the shocking news was revealed, BIGHIT Music spoke up. However, they chose not to provide detailed comments regarding the truth of the rumors circulating about Jin.

"It is difficult to confirm this news. We hope for public understanding," said management. Jin BTS also immediately updated fans via Weverse regarding the news that was circulating. Even though he didn't reveal the truth about the exact date and location, the oldest member of BTS asked ARMY not to go to the training camp location.

"An article that I don't want appears. But ARMY, don't come to the training camp," said Jin. "There will be many people who come there besides me, so the possibility can be very dangerous. ARMY I love you very much," he concluded. BTS's Jin 's decision to submit a postponement of military service was made after he made his solo debut by releasing the song The Astronaut.

The song is a collaboration and also a gift from Coldplay to him. BTS's Jin was even invited directly by Coldplay to sing The Astronaut's song at their concert in Argentina. The concert was held on Friday, October 28, 2022, and was Jin's first appearance singing his official solo song.

Meanwhile, Jin is the second BTS member to officially debut solo. Previously, J-Hope had made his solo debut by releasing the album Jack in the Box. After J-Hope and Jin, RM will follow by releasing an album titled Indigo on December 2, 2022. Meanwhile, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are said to be releasing solo albums in 2023.
