Extraordinary Attorney Woo is one of the most popular Korean dramas to be broadcast in 2022. Not only did it get various domestic awards, this Korean drama also stole global attention. Extraordinary Attorney Woo tells the story of Woo Young Woo who has an autism spectrum disorder. Woo Young Woo has a high IQ of 164.

It is said, Woo Young Woo is a figure who cannot forget what he has seen before. But the drawback, he is not good at socializing and empathizing. One day, Woo Young Woo is accepted to work as an apprentice lawyer at one of the biggest law firms in South Korea. However, his mental state made people look down on him.

Until when Woo Young Woo was confronted by a case. He managed to solve it with his unique perspective. Extraordinary Attorney Woo doesn't only steal attention because of Woo Young Woo's figure. However, the cases raised are quite different when compared to cases in other law-themed Korean dramas.

Now, the Korean drama starring Park Eun Bin has been nominated for the Critics Choice Awards. They were nominated in the Best Foreign Language Series category. The Critics Choice Awards aren't the only South Korean dramas that have been nominated for this category. 

Pachinko, which airs on Apple TV, is also nominated in the Best Foreign Language Series category. Both will compete with a number of foreign language series such as 1899, Borgen, Garcia!, The Kingdom Exodus, Kleo, My Brilliant Friend, and Tehran. The 28th Critics Choice Awards will air on January 15, 2022 in Los Angeles.
