Rocky is leaving the group Astro. Fantagio said on the February, 28th, 2023 "After having a deep conversation with Rocky, who has been with Astro as a member for 7 years, we have concluded an exclusive contract with the company and activities as an Astro member."
Four members of Astro, Cha Eun-woo, Jinjin, Moonbin, and Yoon San-ha, have renewed their contracts with Fantagio. MJ, who is serving in the military, decided to discuss it after being discharged, and in the end, Rocky's contract renewal failed. With Rocky's departure, Astro will continue their activities as a five-member group.
The agency said, "For the time being, the members with Fantagio will focus on their unit and individual activities, and will not hold back their full support so that they can be active in various fields." Rocky was recently caught up in dating rumors with actor Park Bo-yeon, who is 5 years his senior.
