ENHYPEN has just made a comeback with a new song called Bite Me. In the music video for the song, ENHYPEN appears with several female dancers. Apparently there are some fans who do not accept this. Fans who objected to BeLift Lab's creative management decision to perform ENHYPEN's choreography with female dancers were protested by fans.
They even installed a videotron truck in front of the management building to voice their feelings and protests. The fans asked management to change the choreography of the song Bite Me in question. The reason was that some parts of the choreography displayed between ENHYPEN members and the dancers were considered too excessive and vulgar enough to cause discomfort.
The problem with dancing to the song Bite Me arose not only after the MV was released. During ENHYPEN's comeback showcase, fans who came to the event already caught an uncomfortable impression from the choreography. This was exacerbated when the MV was released and ENHYPEN's promotion was on a STUDIO CHOOM YouTube content which displayed more details on the song's dance.
ENHYPEN fans who are called ENGENE issued their statement of protest. There, representatives of fans said that the choreography featured in the song Bite Me was not suitable for ENHYPEN, whose members are under 20 years old. "They still haven't celebrated their 3rd debut anniversary and there are members who are still underage.
It's too early in their career to show overly direct and mature choreography. ENGENE requests that all choreography involving female dancers be removed from BIte Me stages. ," they wrote. ENGENE continued, if BeLift Lab doesn't listen to this protest and act on it, they will take another action until it is heard.
On the videotron truck containing a protest from ENGENE to the management it was written 'BeLift treats fans like idiots.' Apart from that, they also involve BeLift Lab's parent company, HYBE. They called BeLift the 'worst creative label part of HYBE'. Check out ENHYPEN's latest 'Bite Me' MV released on Official YouTube HYBE Label.
