The Korean drama, starring actor Kim Woo Bin, titled ' Black Night ' has recently been widely discussed because of the plagiarism case that dragged the drama. Quoting from Soompi, on Wednesday May 17, 2023, the Korean drama 'Black Night' is a drama based on the popular webtoon story of the same title.

This drama is set in a dystopian future, where the pollution has become very severe, and in order to survive humans have to wait for oxygen cylinders to be delivered to them. A number of top stars such as Kim Woo Bin, Song Seung Heon, Esom, and Kang You Seok took on roles in this drama.

After it was officially released on the Netflix streaming platform last week, a number of game players accused the drama 'Black Night' of plagiarism from a game called 'Death Stranding' which was released in 2019. Responding to the accusations of plagiarism, the producer of the Korean drama 'Black Night' also spoke up and gave an official response.

The producer denied any plagiarism and emphasized that the drama was based on a webtoon story titled 'Black Night' by Lee Yun Kyun, which was released in 2016. A number of netizens expressed their opinion regarding the plagiarism case that dragged the Korean drama 'Black Night'.

Not a few of them said the accusation was unfounded. " It's funny, the producer himself said this drama was based on a webtoon released in 2016. I think the game in question also took inspiration from the webtoon," said one netizen.

" So indirectly you can say that the game 'Death Stranding' also uses the concept from the previously released webnovel, but gamers don't want to admit it ," said another netizen. " So the author of the original webtoon can now sue the game 'Death Stranding'. Thank you game players ," commented another netizen.

" I care more about Kim Woo Bin's appearance in this drama, rather than baseless accusations. Obviously this drama is adapted from a webtoon ," said another netizen. And many more comments from netizens who participated in defending the drama 'Black Night' from accusations of plagiarism.
