In a statement shared by BTS' agency on September 25, 2023, they provided good news by confirming that the seven BTS members officially renewed their contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC.
Previously it was also announced that all BTS members would indeed renew their contracts. "All BTS members have completed their second contract extensions. The members who are currently serving in the military (Suga, J-Hope, and Jin) will complete their military service in 2025, and their new contracts will begin at that time."
Following this statement which was good news for the Army, HYBE then gave another statement. "We will announce military enlistment plans for the remaining BTS members sequentially this year." Even though they have been reassured by the news that their favorite group will remain united after military service, of course it still feels sad for the Army to be separated from their seven idols temporarily.
