A Good Day to Be a Dog centers on the fantasy romance between Han Hae Na ( Park Gyu Young ) and Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo). The plot follows Hae Na, who is cursed to turn into a dog with just one kiss, as she becomes entangled in an unusual love story. Jin Seo Won, the only person who has the ability to break the curse, has a fear of dogs stemming from her childhood trauma.

As seen through episode 11 of A Good Day to Be a Dog, Han Hae Na (Park Gyu Young) has forgotten all about her relationship with Jin Seo Won (Cha Eun Woo) and not the other way around. Seo Won confronts Lee Bo Gyeom (Lee Hyun Woo), who wishes him luck in trying and winning Hae Na back.

Seo Won feels heartbroken when he remembers the happy memories with Hae Na. Despite being heartbroken, he tries to reconnect with Hae Na by remembering her past likes. Uncle Hae Na, who transformed into a permanent dog, returned to human form as promised. However, Choi Yul (Yoon Hyun Soo) has no memory of Hae Na turning into a dog, indicating his memory has been erased.

Strangely, Min Ji Ah's (Kim Yi Kyung) memory was not erased by Bo Gyeom, because he remembered Seo Won and Hae Na were dating. Bo Gyeom makes a conscious effort to strengthen his relationship with Hae Na to prevent Seo Won from getting further involved with her. Seo Won, frustrated, asks Bo Gyeom to step down, but he refuses and continues to chase Hae Na.

Finally, he proposes to Hae Na. Meanwhile, Seo Won finds out that Ji Ah remembers her past relationship with Hae Na. Bo Gyeom suggested going on three dates with Hae Na, and soon after, rumors spread that they were officially dating and reached Seo Won's ears. Ji Ah then confronts Bo Gyeom and questions his motives, but he remains silent and avoids her questions.

Undeterred, Ji Ah turns her focus to the vice principal, a Gumiho and fellow Mountain Spirit, trying to extract information from him. Meanwhile, Yu Na (Ryu Abel) and Woo Taek (Choi Jin Se) start dating. Seo Won, who can't stand watching Hae Na and Bo Gyeom date together, stalks them and experiences heartbreak. He and Hae Na then have some emotional talks as Seo Won indirectly tries to talk to her past self.

Learning about the mountain through the vice principal of the school where he died in his previous life, Ji Ah decides to explore it with Yul and his friends. Then Yul, who learned the details from Ji Ah, took action to help Seo Won by sending Hae Na to her house, so she could be with Seo Won alone.

At a crucial moment, Ji Ah recovers her memories of her past life and Seo Won, in an attempt to trigger Hae Na's memories, kisses her. This episode was interesting, especially centering on Seo Won's earnest efforts to jog Hae Na's memory. It carries emotional weight as viewers witness Seo Won's pain when Hae Na fails to remember their past together.

With only two episodes remaining, anticipation is mounting for the crucial moment when Hae Na will most likely remember or realize that Bo Gyeom is not who he seems, and that he does have a meaningful relationship with Seo Won. The emotional intensity of the narrative suggests a promising climax in the upcoming episodes.

The conversation between Hae Na and Seo Won displays a mix of sweetness and sadness, with Seo Won gently touching on forgotten memories between them. These feelings increase when Seo Won reminisces about their past together. This episode allows viewers to witness Hae Na's emotions, revealing that despite her memory loss, there is still love remaining for Seo Won.

This echoes Seo Won's previous sentiment about feelings remaining even when memories fade, an idea validated by Hae Na's stolen glances and unspoken emotions throughout the episode. Bo Gyeom's storyline continues to be over-the-top, with his incessant attempts to punish Hae Na and Seo Won based on assumptions related to the betrayal and death of his past love.

Notably, Bo Gyeom has no direct witnesses to this incident, making his extreme actions confusing. On the other hand, Ji Ah comes across as an interesting character, aligning herself with the main characters and actively supporting them against Bo Gyeom. However, as his memories resurface, there is a potential shift in allegiance, and he may end up on the opposite side.
