SM Entertainment's rookie boy group, NCT WISH , has successfully proven their rapidly growing popularity in South Korea , through the strength of ticket sales for their first fan meeting. Quoting from Naver on Thursday April 18, 2024, NCT WISH is scheduled to hold their first national tour in South Korea, through their first fan meeting event entitled 'NCT WISH: SCHOOL of WISH'.
The opening of the 'School of Wish' fan meeting event will be held on May 25 and 26, 2024, at Myeonghwa Live Hall, Seoul, with 4 performances at 14.00 KST and 19.00 KST for 2 days. For their first fan meeting in Seoul this time, pre-sale ticket sales for 4 shows have opened on April 17, 2024, at 20.00 KST via Melon Ticket.
Shortly after the pre-sale ticket sales, all seats were sold out, within just 15 minutes. This proves the ticket sales power of NCT WISH, even though they are only a new group. Apart from holding their first fan meeting in Seoul, NCT WISH will also hold their national fan meeting tour in South Korea and visit several other big cities.
The next schedule will soon be announced on NCT WISH's social media. Debuting as the final sub unit of the NCT group, NCT WISH which is fronted by 6 members, namely Sion, Riku, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya started their debut performance on the Tokyo Dome stage, through the 'SMTOWN Live 2024' concert with their debut single 'Wish'.
NCT WISH then released their first single album 'Wish' on August 28, 2024 with the main song 'Wish' and b-side track 'Sail Away' which was performed in 2 languages, namely Japanese and Korean. After that, they started their first activities in South Korea on April 4, 2024 by carrying out promotions on a number of weekly music stages, as well as appearing on several variety show programs.
8 days after officially promoting in South Korea, NCT WISH succeeded in winning their first winning trophy at the weekly music event. And managed to collect a total of 2 trophies overall. Recently NCT WISH also received their first award as best rookie of the year at the '2024 Asia Star Entertainment Awards (ASEA)' event which was held on April 10, 2024.
