BTS's Jin will soon complete military service on Wednesday June 12, 2024. Before the oldest member of BTS officially left, BigHit Music as the agency had made an announcement regarding there being no special celebration to welcome BTS's Jin return from the military camp.
"We are happy to announce the news about Jin who will be discharged from military service. Jin is close to completing his active service in the military and will soon be discharged," wrote the agency via Weverse, Tuesday June 11, 2024.
Continuing the statement, the agency also appealed to BTS fans who are familiarly called ARMY not to go to the military camp where Jin completed his military service. "Please note that repatriation day is reserved for military personnel only. There are no special celebrations planned for Jin's discharge day," continued BigHit Music.
"To avoid problems due to excessive crowds, fans are strongly advised not to visit the location. Please convey warm greetings and enthusiasm in your hearts." Jin BTS is planned to complete his military service tomorrow, Wednesday June 12, 2024, after starting in December 2022. The man born in 1992 served for 18 months and will return as a civilian.
The owner of the real name Kim Seok-jin is then scheduled to attend a series of BTS Festa 2024 events at the Seoul Sports Complex on June 13, 2024. According to BigHit Music's statement some time ago, the celebration will also be enlivened by Jin's "hugging session" with 1,000 selected ARMYs.
The agency said that the event was held at the suggestion of Jin who wanted to meet ARMY. The BTS Festa 2024 event is also a meeting place for BTS and ARMY to commemorate the boy group's debut date, namely June 13, 2024. This year, the singer of the song Dynamite will celebrate his 11th debut anniversary during his career in the Kpop music industry.
Apart from that, it is rumored that the six other BTS members who are currently serving in their military service will gather in full to welcome Jin's return from military service. They have allegedly applied for leave for this special day.
