Greeting the fans for the last time, Weki Meki released a single entitled ' CoinciDestiny ' as the final gong for their career as a girl group in the Kpop realm. Reporting from Allkpop, the song and music video which was released on June 12, 2024 will officially be their last comeback before the Weki Meki name was disbanded.
This moment also marks the end of their group activities after debuting seven years ago in 2017. Filled with special messages from the eight members of Weki Meki to the Ki-Ling (the name for Weki Meki fans), this song also feels more personal because one of the members, Ji Suyeon, was also directly involved in the writing and production process of the song 'CoinciDestiny'.
Even though it is an anticipated work because this group last had group activities in 2021, Kpop listeners were also disappointed by the decision to disband. Many say that it turns out the 'seven year curse' is still running strong in the Kpop realm.

'CoinciDestiny' is a pop song with a bright sentiment that is suitable for summer listening. With a sweet melody and synth bass accompaniment as well as drum and trap percussion accompaniment in each pre-chorus section, the mood conveyed by this song brings a fresh, nostalgic impression.

The combination of the word coincidence which means 'coincidence' and the word destiny which means 'destiny' is a neat combination which states that Weki Meki's relationship with Ki-Ling is a coincidence which has become a line of destiny.
Even though it was lined up as the final song, 'CoinciDestiny' is more suitable to be considered as a song to celebrate Weki Meki's career journey as well as a form of mutual appreciation and affection between each member of Weki Meki towards their fans.
The song 'CoinciDestiny' succeeded in changing general thinking about the word goodbye. Instead of a ballad song that seems sad and lilting, Weki Meki chose to sing a sweet song that can make music listeners smile.
