ASTRO member Sanha has been confirmed to be preparing for his solo debut this coming August 2024. Sanha is planned to release a solo debut album after being involved as a member of ASTRO since his debut in 2016.
"Yoon Sanha is currently preparing his debut solo album which is targeted for release in early August," wrote Fantagio, the agency that manages ASTRO, on Friday July 5, 2024. However, Fantagio has yet to provide a schedule and more detailed information regarding the release of Sanha's solo debut album.
"We plan to announce the exact schedule at a later date. Please give a lot of anticipation to (the upcoming album)," he continued, as reported by Osen via Naver on Friday July 5, 2024. Through this statement, the musician whose real name is Yoon San-ha also became the third ASTRO member to make a solo debut after MJ in 2021 and Cha Eun-woo who just released a solo album in early 2024.
Throughout his career, Sanha has previously released several solo songs for ASTRO, sub-unit albums, and soundtracks, such as songs titled 24 Hours and Wish. Sanha was also a member of ASTRO's sub-unit with the late Moonbin in MOONBIN&SANHA.
The two musicians released an album titled Refuge in March 2022 and Incense in January 2023. Yoon San-ha was born on March 21, 2000, starting his career by debuting as a K-pop idol with the group ASTRO in 2016. He previously underwent training through the Fantagio iTeen program in 2012.
Not only successful as a singer, the man who was born in Seoul, South Korea, is also involved in the world of acting by playing in famous Korean dramas, starting from the drama entitled Crazy Love in 2022 and Choseon Chef Season 14 in 2023.
Sanha was also involved in several web series, such as the web series titled To Be Continued in 2015, Soul Plate in 2019, Love Formula 11M in 2019-2020, and Your Playlist in 2021. In addition, Sanha also joined the world of theater, namely Altar Boyz in 2021-2022. He was also confirmed to play a role in the Japanese musical version of Crash Landing On You on July 7, 2024.
