Get ready to listen to the latest music and solo songs from BLACKPINK member Jennie. She is rumored to be releasing a new solo song in October 2024. Quoting from Soompi on Monday September 9, 2024, the news of Jennie BLACKPINK's solo comeback was conveyed directly by her agency, OA (Odd Atelier).
In its announcement, OA said that Jennie had signed a contract with the American music label, Columbia Records , as a solo artist. Marking Odd Atelier's official partnership with Columbia Records, the agency announced that Jennie will be releasing a new song in October.
This is Jennie's first solo comeback since she released her single 'You & Me' in October 2023, and marks her first solo comeback since she officially left YG Entertainment for individual activities. On the other hand, celebrating the new collaboration between OA and Columbia Records, the American label also shared a photo of Jennie via a post on their social media accounts.
Jennie looks stunning with a red background and an all-black outfit. Columbia Records also added the caption 'We are family' and a heart-shaped hand emoji to welcome Jennie as a new solo artist on their label. Jennie's fans can't wait to see the latest music from the singer of 'Solo', as well as welcoming more new projects with Columbia Records of course.
Before announcing the collaboration with Columbia Records, as well as Jennie's latest comeback song, the Odd Atelier agency also shared a mysterious teaser video via their social media accounts. The short video, which is around 25 seconds long, shows the interior design of a building, before revealing the Odd Atelier agency logo as if introducing an artistic object at an exhibition.
Even though it only displays the agency logo, fans welcomed it enthusiastically, and suspected that BLACKPINK Jennie's latest solo project would be released soon. Meanwhile, Jennie previously also appeared in rapper Zico's latest single this year. Through the song titled 'SPOT!' which was released last April 2024. This collaboration successfully dominated local and global music charts.
