The Husband tells the story of Kang Tae Joo (Nam Goong Min) who is involved in a fight against criminals to save his wife, who was kidnapped just before they decided to divorce. Kang Tae Joo, a neurosurgeon and hospital director, is willing to risk his life in an attempt to find his missing and kidnapped wife.
Meanwhile, in the poster released on May 29, 2026, Namgoong Min's character, Kang Tae Joo, appears anxious and trembling upon receiving a mysterious phone call. With just one call, his world seems to collapse, sparking curiosity about who's on the other end of the line.
With the blazing fire appearing behind Kang Tae Joo, it raises more questions about what is going on and his fierce and almost desperate struggle to find his wife, Go Se Yoon (Lee Seol). That's Nam Goong Min's first appearance in The Husband which is scheduled to air on July 4, 2026.
