NCT's Jaehyun recently appeared as a guest star on the variety show ' No Prepare ' hosted by rapper Lee Young Ji . On that occasion, Jaehyun came to promote his solo debut album titled 'J' which was officially released on August 26, 2024.
Quoting from Allkpop on Saturday September 7, 2024, while appearing on the program 'No Prepare', Lee Young Ji observed Jaehyun's way of speaking and immediately said that the idol answered with a fairly slow speaking style.
"You tend to talk for a long time, right? You think about what you're going to say before you speak," Lee Young Ji said. In response, Jaehyun admitted that he was a little slow in responding. Young Ji then discussed the viral Jaehyun Bubble message incident, as Lee Young Ji discussed it in the previous episode of 'No Prepare'.
"Why did you call the fan's name on Bubble , then you didn't send any messages again for 7-8 minutes," Young Ji asked for an explanation. Jaehyun seemed to think for a long time before saying, "I think it's because of this (his slow speaking style)."
This of course surprised Young Ji, so she re-enacted how Jaehyun behaved when he was writing or replying to fans' Bubble messages. Jaehyun, who tends to speak slowly, was successfully made to laugh by Young Ji's behavior which was very different from his.
After the latest episode of the variety show 'No Prepare' with guest star Jaehyun aired, netizens shared their reactions to Jaehyun's slow-to-respond way of speaking. Not a few felt annoyed by the other side of the idol born in 1997.
" If he's that slow, I imagine the rest of his group would have already discussed other topics by the time Jaehyun was about to respond," one netizen said. " He's really quiet ," wrote another netizen. " He doesn't talk much, plus he's a slow mover too, " commented one netizen. " It seems like he needs time to think before speaking ," said another netizen.
