OH MY GIRL just released their 10th mini album titled " Dreamy Resonance " with the title song " Classified " on August 26, 2024 at 6 pm KST. “Classified” is a dance pop song with a classical background featuring a combination of piano, orchestra, and synth sounds that create a dreamy and mysterious atmosphere.

The classic impression is also shown through the teaser. Where OH MY GIRL appears in a Victorian dress. While in the music video, the six girls are also seen in a dimly lit room which adds to the retro impression. Then there is also a scene when they gather together which strengthens this impression.

In addition to being classic, this video also showcases the concept of dreamy and fairy. However, for me there is nothing special in this 3 minute 55 second music video. That said, I really like the vocals of each member of OH MY GIRL. They sound so alluring that it manages to be comforting even though the song is not addictive.

Each member has a beautiful voice without covering each other. But unfortunately, this song is not suitable to be played during the day because it can make me sleepy. On the other hand, Classified also reminds me of Red Velvet's song. But of course they have different concepts even though they are both beautiful and melodious.

Meanwhile, in the lyrics section, I was impressed by the sentence: "Sometimes I cry to make you smile. Even though we don't know each other's backs (even though we don't know). I want to make you smile more. I want to know you longer. Remember only the good things you mean to me."

These lyrics sound very touching. Moreover, OH MY GIRL managed to bring it with full feeling. Because not all singers today can give a touching impression in the songs they sing. However, OH MY GIRL dismissed all that and showed that they are talented singers.

Finally, OH MY GIRL has a vocal color that I like. Currently, there are not many fourth and fifth generations of KPop who have this kind of vocal and feeling. Likewise with the fairy and dreamy concept that they bring. New groups today tend to always use uniform themes and concepts, even though they are brought in different genres. So it feels monotonous and boring.
