South Korean actor Song Jae Rim died on Tuesday November 12, 2024. According to police, the actor who played in the film Yaksha: Ruthless Operations is suspected of committing suicide. Police are still investigating the chronology of the 39-year-old star's death.
Reported by My Daily, Song Jae Rim was found dead by a friend. The unnamed friend explained that he came to Song Jae Rim's residence in Seongdong-Gu, Seoul, on Tuesday afternoon at around 12:30 local time.
As soon as he realized his friend was no longer breathing, he immediately called the police. Police arrived at the scene. In their official statement, it was explained that there was no crime in Song Jae Rim's death. However, a note was found at the scene.
Meanwhile, the police suspect that the actor who once acted with Jung Il Woo, Lee Sung Ah, and Lee Ki Woo in Cool Guys Hot Ramen committed suicide. Song Jae Rim passed away a month after his musical debut The Rose of Versailles was completed. His body is currently lying in state at St. Mary's Hospital in Yeouido, Seoul.
