After previously releasing portraits of Hwang In Youp in the Korean drama Family by Choice, JTBC has now released photos of Bae Hyeon Seong. In this Korean drama, Bae Hyeon Seong will play a character named Kang Hae Joon.
As told in Family by Choice, Kang Hae Joon was raised with love like a biological child by Yoon Jeong Jae (played by Choi Won Young). There was a relationship between Hae Joon's mother and Jeong Jae in the past. The affection given by his 'adoptive father' left a deep feeling of love in Kang Hae Joon's heart.
Not only for his father, but also for Yoon Jeong Jae's daughter named Yoon Ju Won (played by Jung Chaeyeon). That's why Kang Hae Joon feels like he has a big responsibility to the family. He wants to be someone that both of them can be proud of. One way to do that is by becoming a successful basketball player as a teenager.

He is seen smiling innocently, in contrast to his alert face when he was on the basketball court. Family by Choice will be a Korean drama show that offers a romance story. The story revolves around the relationship of three main characters named Kim San Ha, Yoon Joo Won, and Kang Hae Joon.
These three people are not blood relatives but insist that they are family. San Ha, Joo Won, and Hae Joon spent their teenage years together until one day one of them had to leave and disappear for 10 years. Fast forward to 10 years later, the person who left returns. This moment of course opens up a new story and conflict between them.
Apart from Hwang In Youp, this drama will also star Jung Chaeyeon and Bae Hyun Sung. Family by Choice will air on JTBC this year. HighZium Studio, the company that houses Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won will act as the production house for this drama along with Base Story.
This drama is adapted from a Chinese TV series titled Go Ahead (2020) directed by Ding Ziguang. The original version has 46 episodes which will definitely be cut down to be more minimal for Korean drama audiences. The director's chair for Family by Choice will be filled by Kim Seung Ho with a script written by Hong Si Young.
