The film 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' is back on Trans TV Cinema. This Marvel superhero film airs on Monday September 9, 2024, at 21.00 WIB. 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' premiered in May 2014. Like the previous film, this film was still directed by Marc Webb.
The Spider-Man character still fell to Andrew Garfield. So did Emma Stone who played Gwen Stacy. However, there are also new faces in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Actor Jamie Foxx is present as the evil Electro.
Meanwhile, the Green Goblin is played by Dane DeHaan. The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker's (Andrew Garfield) life is busy teaching criminals lessons and spending time with the woman he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone).
Peter has not forgotten his promise to Gwen's father who was killed by The Lizard attack, that he would stay away from Gwen's life for her safety. But that promise is difficult for Peter to carry out. Things change when the evil Electro (Jamie Foxx) joins forces with his old friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan).
Peter also finds new clues about his past. Even though Gwen still appears, the film will tell the story of Peter meeting the figure of Mary Jane Watson. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 cost a pretty big US$200 million to produce.
Despite that fantastic amount, the film managed to 'recoup its investment' thanks to revenues reaching US$700 million. In terms of rating, this Columbia Pictures film is also not too disappointing.
