Recently Jung Hae In appeared in two works at the same time. The first one he appeared in the romantic comedy drama, ' Love Next Door ' together with Jung So Min. In the middle of the drama, Jung Hae In also appeared in the film 'I, The Executioner' or also known as 'Veteran 2'.

Based on OSEN's coverage, on Friday October 18, 2024, it was confirmed that Jung Hae In, after completing the film 'I, The Executioner' and the drama 'Love Next Door', has been offered the male lead role in a Japanese drama.

This will be the next work positively considered by Jung Hae In. Actually, this is not surprising considering that previously, Jung Hae In had collaborated with Japanese film director Takashi Miike through the original Disney+ series 'Connect' which was released in 2022.

Indeed, the drama 'Connect' was planned and produced by Studio Dragon with a Korean-Japanese collaboration concept. Jung Hae In has met Japanese fans through fan meetings and is scheduled to hold another one on October 20, 2024. However, appearing in a Japanese drama is something new for Jung Hae In.

The work currently being offered to Jung Hae In is said to be a work created through collaboration between a local production company, writer, and director. The concept of the drama, whether it will be entirely Japanese or a mix of Korean and Japanese, has not been revealed. Regarding Korean artists collaborating with Japan is actually not a new thing.

Like what Lee Se Young and Kentaro Sakaguchi did in the drama 'What Comes After Love' and Chae Jong Hyeop through the Japanese drama 'Eye Love You' which made him popular in Japan. This is a big step for Jung Hae In towards global popularity after his previous film 'I, The Executioner' which he starred in was a box office success, attracting around 7.4 million viewers.

And the drama 'Love Next Door' as its first romcom drama achieved global success and became the most popular drama for several consecutive weeks according to Good Data Corporation. Attention is drawn to whether Jung Hae In will finally challenge himself by taking on his first project in a Japanese drama?
