Lee Soo Man has reportedly begun the process of recruiting trainees for his new music label, according to an exclusive report from media outlet Star Today on Thursday October 10, 2024. While there has been no public casting announcement, an insider reported that Lee Soo Man and his staff have begun gathering information on potential K-Pop idol trainees.
Reportedly, a trainee from Gyeongsangnam-do was recently selected. Furthermore, it is said that Lee Soo Man will soon begin recruiting talented music producers who will work alongside Yoo Young Jin at his new label.
Some producers may be selected from EKKO Music Rights, a publishing company under Lee Soo Man's Culture Technology Group Asia. Previously in February 2023, Lee Soo Man signed a stock sale agreement with HYBE Labels, which prohibited him from producing music in South Korea for 3 years.
The agreement will expire in less than 1.5 years. Last May 2024, Lee Soo Man registered a trademark for a new agency known as A20 Entertainment, through his environmental, social, and governance management consulting firm, Blooming Grace.
