Korean drama "Love in the Big City" finally aired on October 21, 2024. As soon as it aired, TVING's latest drama was immediately greeted with a stir because of the appearance of a vulgar scene involving Go Young ( Nam Yoon Su ) and a fellow guy.
"Love in the Big City" tells the story of young writer Go Young who goes through the ups and downs of life and love. She is in conflict with her mother who denies his sexual orientation, and is forced to separate from his lover Gyu Ho (Jin Ho Eun) due to societal pressure.
After recovering from a breakup, Go Young travels to Thailand with a stranger, and manages to learn more about herself in the process. The drama is adapted from a novel of the same name. After the release of "Love in the Big City", a vulgar scene shown in the fourth episode of the drama went viral.
The scene shows the moment when Go Young and her second love, No Young Soo ( Na Hyun Woo ) reconcile after a fight. The couple let their anger turn to passion. Go Young and Young Soo kiss roughly at first, before things quickly escalate into something more intimate, with Go Young leaning over the table.
This vulgar scene that is not done in bed like most couples makes the audience speechless. Many other K-dramas that show homosexual relationships usually do not reach such an intense level like this.
