BTS' Kim Taehyung, better known by his stage name V, recently attracted widespread attention after revealing his impressive ranked gaming achievements in League of Legends.

V shared a video on his Instagram Story showing that he had reached Diamond 2 rank on the Korean server, known as one of the most competitive servers in the world. In the post, V wrote, "Anyone want to play as a five-person team?"

This signified his readiness to play with fans. This achievement was certainly noteworthy, considering that V had previously reached Diamond 4 in 2023, making him two levels higher in approximately two years.

League of Legends ranks range from Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, and Challenger. Diamond and above are considered high-level, and only a small percentage of players achieve them.

This further solidifies V's standing as a skilled gamer. Many gamers praised V's achievement. Inven Global even stated, "Diamond 2 on the Korean server clearly shows that he is a skilled player."

Gen.G Esports CEO Arnold Hur also commented on the X platform, expressing his admiration that an idol in his 30s could achieve such a rank while juggling a busy world tour schedule.

Meanwhile, some gamers had mixed reactions, with some trying to downplay the Diamond 2 achievement as a "mid-tier" rank. Others also joked about fans being impressed by the rank, sparking further debate online. V's fans also responded positively to the post.

One fan wrote, "Gamers praise Taehyung's gaming skills, and baseball fans praise his pitching skills. Taehyung is truly loved." Other fans expressed disbelief that V could achieve such a ranking while touring the world and also working as a FIFA World Cup Coca-Cola model.

Some fans even joked that ARMYs now have to reach Diamond rank if they want to play League of Legends with him. Meanwhile, Jin, another BTS member, once praised V's gaming skills in an interview with GQ Korea, saying, "V is the best at gaming among the BTS members.

Even though he doesn't play much, he quickly picks up games." V's revelation of achieving Diamond 2 has once again given fans reason to praise his surprising talent, focus, and gaming skills.
