NCT DREAM is confirmed to make a new comeback through the release of their fourth full album titled DREAMSCAPE on November 11, 2024. The upcoming album will consist of a total of 11 songs spanning various genres, including the title track When I'm With You and the English single Rains in Heaven which was released last August 2024. This album follows the launch of DREAM()SCAPE which was released in March 2024.
Through their latest comeback, NCT DREAM presents a concept full of suffering and pain that befalls them in the process of escaping from a reality that is difficult to express. Meanwhile, in this latest album, they once again present the joy and freedom of young people in a utopian space.
The upcoming comeback will also be Renjun's return from hiatus due to health problems since April 2024. The news of the musician's return was conveyed directly by SM Entertainment through an official statement on Monday October 17, 2024. The agency said Renjun would return to his activities after receiving medical treatment and good rest until his condition recovers.
"Due to health reasons, Renjun has been participating in various activities flexibly. However, he has made significant progress with proper treatment and rest," SM Entertainment said via Soompi. "After discussing and considering Renjun's desire to return and the advice of the medical team, we announce that he is safe to return to activities.
He will officially return after this announcement," the agency continued. However, SM Entertainment has yet to provide further information regarding the upcoming comeback, including the comeback concept and the track list for the DREAMSCAPE album.
On the other hand, NCT Dream recently completed their world tour THE DREAM SHOW 3: DREAM SCAPE through concerts at the Asian Stadium and Japan Dome Tour. The concerts coincided with the release of the album DREAM SCAPE this year.
