After a hiatus due to a scandal, Seunghan is confirmed to be returning as a member of the Kpop group RIIZE. The boy group from SM Entertainment now has seven members as before. RIIZE's Seunghan stumbled into controversy ahead of his debut.
The public was shocked by an intimate photo of Seunghan kissing his girlfriend at a hotel. According to the person who spread the photo, Seunghan also committed violence, cheated on his girlfriend, and took advantage of her financially.
The Memories singer was also reported to have forced his ex-girlfriend to have an abortion. A number of Korean netizens thought that SM Entertainment would cancel Seunghan RIIZE's debut last year. However, he was still included along with Wonbin, Eunseok, Sohee, Anton, Seungchan, and Seungtaro.

A video of him smoking in between group activities in Japan has also been circulating. SM Entertainment finally took decisive action and decided that RIIZE would be active as a six-member group for the time being.
Meanwhile, Seunghan will be on hiatus to reflect on his mistakes. After almost a year, SM Entertainment finally announced Seunghan's status as a member of the K-pop group RIIZE. Seunghan is confirmed to return to activities starting in November after reflecting on his mistakes.
