Korean drama ' Doubt ' starring Han Suk Kyu and Chae Won Bin began its first episode last week and achieved promising ratings. This drama is indeed able to make the audience waver between doubts. Should they side with the father or the son?
Tonight October 18, 2024, the drama 'Doubt' will air its third episode and continue the story of the psychological battle between father and son. Jang Tae Soo (Han Seok Gyu) who works as a profiler suspects his daughter is involved in a murder.
However, he does not want to reveal this to his other detective colleagues. All the evidence points to his daughter, Jang Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin). But Jang Ha Bin keeps denying it and trying to hide something from her father. He wants to believe his daughter but a series of lies continue to happen.
In episodes 1 and 2, Jang Tae Soo finds out about his daughter's double life that he didn't know about. Jang Ha Bin lied about going on a school trip, when in fact the location history of her tracked phone number showed it near the murder scene.
In addition, a red fabric fiber that was the only evidence at the crime scene was found by the forensic team. However, they do not know what type of fiber it came from. But Jang Tae Soo realized that the color was very similar to the fiber of the small heart-shaped doll hanging on his daughter's bag.
Jang Ha Bin who read the investigation data realized this and burned the doll hanger. Ahead of the next episode, MBC released several stills showing Jang Tae Soo conducting a secret observation on his daughter. He visited his daughter's school and found something surprising.
Jang Ha Bin turns out to have a different personality from what he has seen at home. Jang Ha Bin is seen smiling brightly with her friends on the school field while playing during sports. She looks like a good daughter in general.
Next, Jang Tae Soo is seen chatting with Park Jun Tae (Yoo Eui Tae), who is Jang Ha Bin's homeroom teacher. Not only does he hear about his daughter's school life that he didn't know about, but he also seems lost in thought as his teacher talks about a different side of Ha Bin than what he sees.
