BTS's Jin reveals how he deals with haters. As BTS's name skyrocketed to the international scene, Jin realized that not everyone liked him. The man who just made a comeback after being discharged from military service responded to the insults casually.
"When people say I'm ugly, I just laugh. I think 'That's ridiculous.' I know people are joking when they call me ugly," BTS's Jin said on Salon Drip 2. The oldest member of BTS added that negative comments will always attack famous people.
He always positions himself as a superstar which has the consequence of not only being liked, but also having a lot of haters. "Whenever I hear something negative, I always say 'It's okay because I'm a superstar,'" he added. "In the end, I will think that it is nothing after all (the success achieved)," said BTS's Jin.
Jin's positive thinking was also applied during his military service. He admitted that during his time in the military, he often faced difficulties. "When something unexpected happens, I just think, 'That's natural because I'm a superstar!'," he explained.
BTS Jin's attitude of always thinking positively also made Jang Do Yeon, as the host of the event, give praise. "Your way of thinking is so handsome," Jang Do Yeon praised. "But my face is more handsome," added the singer of the song Super Tuna.
