"You Quiz on the Block" will air an episode featuring Song Hye Kyo on January 1, 2024. Ahead of the broadcast, the production team of the tvN program presented a clip of the moment between the actress and the two MCs, Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho.
In the clip, Hye Kyo is seen being given a large bouquet of flowers by Se Ho. The "You Quiz on the Block" MC then said, "Everyone says you're fun, Song Hye Kyo." The actress honestly replied, "I'm not completely humorless." Hye Kyo unexpectedly shared a past experience where Jae Suk treated her.
"Oppa, do you remember? You said 'I'll treat you, get together!' and that's how we all got together," the actress said. Jae Suk then praised Hye Kyo by saying, "You have been a star since your debut—1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s."
However, the actress quickly stopped Jae Suk's words by holding his hand and saying, "Don't." After that, Jae Suk mentioned his wide social circle. "You went out with Kim Hye Soo and ate with Suzy. Your network seems wide," Jae Suk said. However, Hye Kyo jokingly replied, "They're all women."
During the conversation, Jae Suk praised Hye Kyo's straightforward attitude. "You're refreshing! No beating around the bush," said the National MC. During the interview, Hye Kyo discussed her past feelings of being bored with her own acting. "When I watch my own acting, I find it very boring," she said.
The actress went on to reveal that she spent five years focusing on self-discipline, practicing every morning and evening, leaving the audience in awe. Hye Kyo was also asked about her remarks at the 2023 Blue Dragon Series Awards, where the actress said to herself, "Good job, Hye Kyo.
" The 1981-born actress explained the meaning, "I deserve that compliment." Hye Kyo further shared insights into her personal life. "As a woman, as a person, and as an actress, I have experienced both painful and joyful moments," said the "The Glory" star.
