BIGBANG's G-Dragon was a guest star on the YouTube program "Yongtarot" hosted by Lee Yong Jin on February 26, 2025. On that occasion, the idol revealed that he had slept for so long that his manager was worried that he would die.

In the video, MC Yong Jin reads G-Dragon's fortune for the year and advises, "It looks like you should take a break after using up all your energy. You can't keep doing this." Yong Jin even compared G-Dragon to a snake.

"If you were a snake, you would hibernate. You would need a real winter sleep. But what does resting mean to you? Just lying at home is not the only way." Surprisingly, G-Dragon replied, "That's actually how I rest. I need a lot of sleep to feel really refreshed."

The idol then shared an experience of sleeping for so long that his manager was worried he would stop breathing. "Once, I slept for three days straight. During the North American tour, I had a break between shows, but going back to Korea didn't make sense, so I just stayed in the hotel," G-Dragon revealed.

"After the show, I fell asleep, and when I woke up, more time had passed than I expected. I was like, 'Wait, what? That can't be true,'" he added. G-Dragon only believed it after being shown footage of himself sleeping for so long.

He continued, "Then the documentary director showed me the footage, and it turned out that I had been sleeping for three days straight, and my manager kept coming to check if I was still breathing because he was so scared."

Yong Jin laughed and said, “I mean, of course! If someone sleeps for three days straight, you have to check if they’re still alive! You really just slept that whole time? You didn’t eat at all?” G-Dragon replied, "No.

When I sleep, I don't go to the bathroom or drink water either." Yong Jin jokingly replied, "What, do you wear diapers when you sleep? Sleeping for 3 days doesn't make sense unless you wear adult diapers."

Her comment made G-Dragon burst out laughing. He shared that he usually sleeps at least 10 hours a night. "But when I stay up late, I really stay up late. Since I usually work at night, my sleep schedule is always reversed when I work," he added.
