Song Hye Kyo recently had a photoshoot and interview with fashion magazine Vogue Hong Kong. In the cover that was revealed, the actress appeared perfect with a short haircut and smokey makeup, which invited admiration.

In the interview, Song Hye Kyo talked about her career. "Even before 'The Glory,' I had the opportunity to do [a thriller], but it didn't happen. I think because I received a lot of love in the romance genre, I felt secure with it and generally got more offers in that genre," she said.

Song Hye Kyo revealed that she was motivated after feeling excited about taking on a new genre and character. The actress then discussed her upcoming Netflix drama, "Show Business," which is still in the process of filming.

"My character, Min Ja, is someone who went through various hardships in her childhood and has developed a stronger inner core than others. While living a difficult life, she sees opportunities in the Korean music industry and takes bold risks.

I'm excited to show a new side of myself through Min Ja," she said. Song Hye Kyo then recalled the good times while filming "Full House". "I have good memories while filming 'Full House'. At that time, director Pyo Min Su encouraged all of us to have fun, so there was a lot of improvisation and I have good memories from it.

Since then, I haven't had the chance to work in the light romantic comedy genre, so if there is a realistic and witty comedy that is suitable for someone in their 40s, I want to try it," said the actress. Song Hye Kyo also discussed her age, which is now in her 40s.

"I went through my 20s and 30s to become who I am today, and since we are all growing old together, I am not afraid of growing old. Of course, because I have a very prominent profession, I try hard to live it," she said.

"To be honest, I don't really have any ambitions. Now that I'm in my 40s, I value the present more than the past or the future. I want to work hard on everything I've been given and live wisely and well as a human being," she added.

Song Hye Kyo also discussed her current change in mindset. "I would say that the real me has always lived under the gaze of others, my friends and family have always come first and if they are happy, I will be happy too. As long as they are happy, even if I lose a little, it feels comfortable," she said.

"However, at some point, I realized that I had never put myself first in life and I thought, 'Let's put me first no matter what.' I made up my mind. After that, I felt more centered in everything I do and in every situation I face," Song Hye Kyo continued.

"Thinking about 'myself' has given me a sense of calm, and I even find that I can approach others more easily. I guess I could say that by embracing 'myself', I have become stronger inside," she concluded.
