TWS' Dohoon had to take a break from group activities in China due to illness. He was rushed to the hospital a day before the fansigning event in China. Pledis Entertainment reported on Sunday February 23, 2025, Dohoon suddenly fell ill and had a fever.
He was immediately taken to the hospital and asked to rest by the doctor. Management did not explain in detail what illness Dohoon was suffering from. What is certain is that because of his condition, the 'plot twist' singer could not attend the autograph event in China which was scheduled for today.
The activities of the January 30, 2005-born will also be temporarily stopped. Management promised to provide an update if Dohoon's condition has improved and he can greet fans again. Here is Pledis Entertainment's full statement:
Hello. This is PLEDIS Entertainment. We would like to announce regarding TWS member Dohoon's health and schedule. Due to his deteriorating health, including a sudden fever, Dohoon went to the hospital for treatment.
In accordance with the doctor's opinion that he needs to rest for a while, he will not be participating in Yizhiyu's fan signing event in China scheduled for today (February 23, 2025). We ask for the understanding of fans.
We plan to consider our artist's health as our top priority as we arrange (Dohoon's) future schedules. We will do our best to help our artist recover so that Dohoon can meet his fans in good health. Thank You.
