Actor Choo Young Woo is increasingly loved after appearing as Ju Ji Hoon's partner in the Netflix Korean drama The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. His natural and hilarious acting in the drama is really adorable! It's no wonder that the public finally fell in love with the guy born on June 5, 1999.
Even his brand reputation ranking skyrocketed. The Korea Business Research Institute released the brand reputation rankings for Korean stars throughout February 2025. This ranking was determined through big data analysis ranging from media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, to online community awareness index throughout January 26 to February 26, 2025.
Choo Young Woo skyrockets to 2nd place on this month's big list. There's a 94.81 percent increase from his score last month. There's proof that he's one of the shining stars right now! In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar Korea, Choo Young Woo felt that his life hasn't changed much since the success of The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call. He tries to live everything as normally as possible.
"It all happened in a short time so I don't feel like much has changed. I still eat the same things, sleep at the same time, still hang out with my friends too," he said. The winner of the Best New Actor award for the Korean drama Oasis (2023) tries to be wise in responding to his increasing popularity. He doesn't want to worry too much but still tries to live life responsibly.
Choo Young Woo also doesn't want to be big-headed and tries to stay down to earth. According to him, this success is not the result of his own hard work. "I think it's important to work while accepting everything that's happening right now with full responsibility. The pressure also has to be accepted.
But I'm not trying to make it feel light. Just embrace it because it's not just about me, but the people who help and support me," he continued. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call is one of the most watched Korean dramas on Netflix after Squid Game. In it, Choo Young Woo acts with Ju Ji Hoon, Ha Young, Yoon Kyung Ho, and Jeong Jae Kwang.
