BTS's Jin continues to make a meaningful impact through his actions. In commemoration of Children's Day in Korea, he donated 100 million won to a hospital. This news was conveyed by Seoul Asan Medical Center, one of the hospitals in South Korea.
The donation given by Jin will later be used to improve medical services and facilities for child and adolescent patients. "In order to celebrate Children's Day, BTS Jin has donated 100 million won to the children's ward at this hospital," said Seoul Asan Medical Center, quoted by Allkpop, Monday, May 5, 2025.
Meanwhile, Jin hopes that through this donation, children who are undergoing medical treatment and fighting various diseases can recover quickly and play happily again. “My heart aches every time I see children fighting against illness,” said the “The Astronaut” singer.
Jin is known to be preparing for his first solo concert tour titled “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR”. The tour is scheduled to start on June 28-29 at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium, South Korea.
“#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR” then continues to Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the United States, and London in the United Kingdom, before ending in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Jin will meet fans in 18 shows in 9 cities around the world. Meanwhile, the title of the concert is a spin-off of the BTS variety series “Run Seokjin”, which is released every week on BTS's official YouTube channel. This represents Jin's journey to connect with fans around the world.
