The currently airing Korean drama, Resident Playbook, broke the record for the highest rating during its broadcast this week. According to Nielsen Korea, the broadcast of the drama Resident Playbook on Saturday May 10, 2025 received a rating of 6.2 percent.
This figure is a new record for the Hospital Playlist spin-off drama. The upcoming latest episode is getting high enthusiasm from the audience because it will feature Soobin and Yeonjun from TXT.
In episode 9, Kang You Seok's character, Um Jae Il, a first-year OB-GYN resident is a former member of the now-disbanded idol group HI-BOYZ. He then sang his former group's song entitled When the Day Comes in a karaoke room.
As he performed, a background video played showing Yeonjun and Soobin dancing with him, indicating that the two idols were former groupmates Um Jae Il.
Although only the two members appear on screen, the full song was recorded by all five TXT members and will be released as part of the Resident Playbook OST this afternoon, Sunday May 11, 2025 at 6 p.m. South Korean time.
