South Korean actor, Lee Jong Suk may be returning to the small screen in a new drama titled 'Paradise'. On Wednesday May 13, 2026, a media outlet reported that Lee Jong Suk had been offered the lead role in the project. 

In response to the report, a representative from Lee Jong Suk's agency stated, "'Paradise' is one of the projects that Lee Jong Suk has received a casting offer for." This statement confirms that the handsome actor is in talks for this exciting project.

The drama 'Paradise' is the latest work from writer Kim Su Jin, who was previously known for the drama 'Beyond Evil' starring Shin Ha Kyun and Yeo Jin Goo. The drama won the Best Drama and Best Screenplay awards at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards. 

'Paradise' will tell the story of the events that occur after top star Kang Jin Hyuk is involved in a drug-related incident. The drama will be directed by Oh Choong Hwan, known for his visuals and immersive narratives through dramas like 'Start-Up', 'Castaway Diva', and 'Melo Movie'. 

If Lee Jong Suk accepts the offer, this project will be the third collaboration between Lee Jong Suk and Oh Choong Hwan, having previously worked together on the dramas 'While You Were Sleeping' and 'Big Mouth'.
