BLACKPINK's Jennie Kim once again stole the spotlight through her latest fashion photoshoot for Dazed Korea magazine on May 19, 2026. In the June issue, Jennie featured three stunning covers, followed by additional photos released on May 22, 2026.
This photoshoot was done ahead of the 'Chanel 2026 Métiers d'Art Collection' event which will take place in Seoul on May 26, 2026. In the photo shoot, Jennie showcases a variety of styles, from classic black suits to bold, avant-garde hair accessories.
The resulting black-and-white photos highlight a dreamy yet rebellious atmosphere, along with a gender-neutral charm that adds a distinct edge to her image. Dazed Korea described Jennie as “charming but insecure, beautiful but disobedient,” reflecting the unique aura she has created over the years.
In an interview accompanying the photo shoot, Jennie opened up about her long relationship with Chanel, revealing, “Initially, it was about embracing the brand’s symbols and stories. Now, I feel like my understanding of Chanel has deepened, allowing me to naturally interpret and express it in my own way.”
Jennie continued by discussing her perspective and growth over the years. She stated, "I always give my best in every moment and opportunity I'm given, and the results of that deep thought have yielded positive responses."
She also added that she now realizes her life choices and story can impact more people. Furthermore, Jennie expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming Chanel event in Seoul, saying, “I’m really excited because it’s a meaningful event being held in Korea after a long time.”
