South Korean boy group, ATEEZ has made history in the global music industry. They have now been crowned the group with the most top 10 albums in the 2020s on the Billboard 200 chart.
This achievement was achieved after their latest mini album "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5" successfully debuted at number one on the most popular album chart in the United States.
Based on Billboard's official report on Sunday (July 5, 2026), "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5" became ATEEZ's third album to top the Billboard 200. Previously, the eight-member group had twice reached No. 1 with the albums "THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL" and "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2."
This achievement also marks ATEEZ's ninth consecutive album to reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200. This unbroken streak has been maintained by ATEEZ since the release of "THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT" in 2022.
With a total of nine top 10 albums during the 2020s, ATEEZ has officially broken a new record for a group. This achievement also breaks the record previously held by two other K-pop groups, Stray Kids and TXT.
Not only breaking records, ATEEZ also recorded the best and biggest sales week of their career in the United States market through this mini album.
According to data from music industry data tracker Luminate, "GOLDEN HOUR: Part.5" managed to collect a total of 228,000 equivalent album units for the week ending July 3, 2026.
The total points earned were dominated by physical and digital album sales, reaching 223,000. This figure places ATEEZ's latest album as the best-selling album of the week in the US and marks the group's highest personal sales record.
Meanwhile, the remaining 5,000 units were earned from streaming equivalent albums (SEA), which equates to 4.96 million on-demand audio streams throughout the week.
