Ateez's San is rumored to be in a romantic relationship after being spotted walking with a woman in Milan, Italy. Their agency, KQ Entertainment, quickly issued a clarification.
A video showing San walking with a woman on the streets of Milan, Italy, has circulated online. In the video, San is seen wearing a hat and sunglasses, laughing and chatting with the woman.
Because the video only shows San and the woman, some netizens suspected the two were in a relationship. However, San's agency quickly issued a clarification, dispelling the dating rumors.
"(The woman in the video) is a representative of a brand in Milan. They were out to buy necessary items," KQ Entertainment said, as quoted by Star News on Sunday, September 27, 2026.
The agency later explained that San wasn't alone with the woman. They said his manager and several staff members were also with him. Meanwhile, San is currently in Milan after leaving on September 21st to attend fashion week.
"If you look at the uploaded video, you can see someone wearing brown clothing behind the local bodyguards, and their manager is also with them," explained KQ Entertainment.
At the same time, San also reprimanded fans who allegedly followed or recorded his activities outside of his official schedule, leading to the spread of the videos and sparking dating rumors.
San stated that he was busy with various schedules. He then expressed his discomfort with people constantly following him everywhere. "How do they know? Every time I go somewhere, people follow me," San said.
San said he doesn't mind meeting fans by chance. However, he feels uncomfortable if someone deliberately follows him secretly. San then immediately asked fans not to follow him outside of official schedules.
He also reminded them that taking photos secretly is not acceptable. "Anyway, thank you for your concern. Don't do that (following secretly outside of schedules). Taking photos secretly is also wrong," San emphasized.
