The motorcycle ridesharing and delivery service Angkas has released an statement on its social media accounts that reveal a decision made by the (LTFRB) Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board.
Starting next year, the ride-hailing company Angkas will lose almost 17,000 bikers due to the LTFRB decision to reduce their number of bikers from 27,000 to 10,000, many of whom have been serving the public since 2017.
Aside from Angkas, their also JoyRide and Move It has been approved to partake in the program, which will start on December 23, 2019, to March 23, 2020. A total of 39,000 bikers will participate nationwide.
