The Pokemon Company and Nintendo have revealed a new cloud-based system for all Pokemon Games. The service app called 'Pokemon Home' is set to release on February 2020.
The news was unveiled alongside Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass, that will introduce two new adventures to the world of Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Pokemon Home was announced last summer, and was described as a new cloud-based Pokemon storage service for Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS.
Pokemon Home will serve as the successor to the Nintendo's Pokemon Bank app for the 3DS.
The service app will be the main storage solution for Pokemon going forward, and supports the transferring of Pokemon from Pokemon Bank, Pokemon GO, Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee, Pokemon Sword and Shield and Future Pokemon Games.
The app will allow users to trade Pokemon with friends and others around the world either locally or online. However, Pokemon Home can't be used to transfer Pokemon to older titles - only Pokemon Sword and Shield can both withdraw and deposit Pokemon from the cloud.
The Pokemon Home will be released in February 2020.
